Terry Murray needs to be Fired NOW!

The term Pathetic took on a whole new meaning in minnesota last night.

The Kings had a 50 second 5 on 3 – they failed for the 18th time in 21 tries.

But wait.

It gets worse.

In the 3rd period, with the score tied 2-2, the Kings had a 5 on 3 for a full TWO MINUTES.

They failed miserably.

How the frank do you NOT score 5 on 3 with TWO MINUTES??? Even WITH a Terry Murray called timeout!!!

If they’re not listening to Murray during a 5 on 3, are they really going to listen to ANYTHING he says?

The Kings even had a power play with 5:08 left and down 3-2. What did they do? They shot the puck twice (both were blocked) and passed it ELEVEN times.

Jamie Kompon needs to be jettisoned faster than Rod Blagojevich and replaced with Nelson Emerson, or Nelson Riddle, or Emerson, Lake and Palmer. Anyone!!!

Minnesota didn’t even NEED 5 on 3 as they were just fine with 5 on 4 as they scored twice. The 3rd goal in the 3rd period was the difference.

The Kings wasted a 2 goal effort from Scott Parse.

And guess what Terry Murray did?

You guessed it – he changed the lines again. This time he put the ZERO goals and ZERO assists in 11 games (and a healthy scratch) on the top line. Guess what happened? The same thing that’s happened every time he messes with the lines. NOTHING!

But things are just FINE aren't they Terry? Isn't that what you said after the Dallas game?

Murray told Hammond, “I’m taking Williams off the (top) line here tonight. It’s just not quite there for him right now. He’s had a very severe injury and a long rehab there. I’m just not seeing that strength, that quickness that he had before the injury, so I’m just going to back off and put Halpern there tonight.”

Gee, how can you get BACK to where you once were shifting from the 1st line to the 4th line to the 3rd line – there’s about as much chemistry as a Tom Cruise marriage to a woman.

Couple this game with another Nashville comeback win and the choke-a-thon Kings are slipping faster than Sarah Palin’s IQ.
